Hello lovely friend,
My name is Hannah Foster and I am married to the sweetest kindest funnest lovingest gentleman named Tyler.
I am a Southern Belle at heart, having grown up in the North Carolina woods along with my 8 siblings, 4 older brothers and 4 younger sisters.
Despite my southern roots, the winds of time blew me out to the big city of Minneapolis for 6 years after high school.
I graduated from Bethlehem College and Seminary with a bachelor’s degree in History of Ideas (philosophy and literature) in the spring of 2018 and got married one week after.
Just this summer (August 2019) I moved again with my husband to the city center of Jerusalem, Israel while he pursues his Master's degree for the next couple years at a school here and I pursue writing.
I enjoy a well written book, often choosing those older classic books buried in dust, yet true treasures written with artistic grace. Some of my favorite authors are Jane Austen, Charlotte Bronte, L.M. Montgomery, A. A. Milne, Beatrix Potter, Robert McCloskey, and Jan Karon to name a few.
I use this small blog of mine to encourage and inspire myself in my own writing skills and I hope I encourage others in the process. This blog is a space for me to share personal thoughts or ramblings, poetry or adventures, life updates and opinions.
My personality type is INFP, but what defines me is who I am in Christ for without him I am nothing.
I love dark chocolate and coffee with sugar and cream, or a cup of tea in the cool afternoon.
I enjoy cooking and baking, crocheting and creating, writing and dreaming, reading and adventuring.
I am an aspiring author, right now focusing on Christian contemporary fiction as my genre to write in.
I had a brother who died of Leukemia when I was only 12. Because of the journey God has taken me on-- hope in the midst of grief and joy in the midst of sorrow--I desire to use my writing to shine hope and joy to others who have lost a loved one, too.
You can read other articles of mine that have been published on the Rebelution blog or you can read my old Graced with Grace blog.
